Peter Robinson, Primark, Head of Channels Transformation

Prior to working at Primark, Peter’s 25+ year career spanned retail technology roles across the likes of Specsavers and Curry’s. As a retail technologist he’s passionate about the enablement of technology for the benefit of retailers, their customers and staff. In his current role as Head of Channels Transformation, he leads on key digital transformation initiatives at Primark, including the recent delivery of a new Global website and Click and Collect trial for the UK market.

Matthew’s career in retail IT started with a 20-year term at Paperchase, where he went from weekend sales assistant to Head Office IT. He quickly ended up specialising in retail POS systems and worked product side focusing on delivering technology enhancements. Since joining Arsenal nearly 10 years ago, he has spearheaded their journey of innovation, utilising composable architecture to deliver impactful solutions that enhance the retail customer experience.

With over 15 years’ experience and a successful track record of delivery with many leading retail names, including Paperchase, Reiss, Oddbins, Warehouse and Oasis, Richard’s current role as Head of IT at Crew Clothing Company has seen him transform their in-store shopping experience through integrating fully mobile sales solutions across all their stores.

Paul’s 35+ year career in technology includes pioneering roles grounded in customer experience. In his early career at Nationwide Building Society he was responsible for all customer-facing technology and led the team that built the UK’s first internet bank. In recent years he has chaired and been NED for a number of retail and food businesses and carried out numerous consulting and advisory projects

Prior to founding Retail247, Martin’s retail career spanned Head of IT and retail system roles at The Burton Group, Debenhams, Burberry and Harvey Nichols, where he was part of the main Board as IT and Logistics Director. In 2015 he set up Retail247 to provide technology and operational process transformation in the retail sector.

Having held both commercial and technical roles in Retail, Elliott combines a Technology Evangelist mentality with a detailed knowledge of how to apply retail business concepts. 

Chris Bridgland, Couchbase, Senior Director, Solutions Engineering & Customer Success Europe 

Chris heads up Couchbase’s Solutions Engineering and Customer Success teams in Europe. His primary goal is to ensure that customers get the most value from investing in Couchbase’s NoSQL technology and to help deliver ever-richer and ever-more personalised customer and employee experiences, and to think beyond business as usual.
